Voting Congress back to power will invite scams: KTR

WANAPARTY: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President and Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao (KTR) has said that if BRS is voted to power, people will get schemes but if Congress is voted to power, people will get scams.

Addressing a public meeting at the Polytechnic College Grounds in Wanaparthy, KTR lashed out at the Congress saying, "If the Congress comes to power, the Chief Minister will change every year. Sealed cover Chief Ministers will take charge. Congress is a party without guarantee and warranty."

Criticising the Congress for destroying Palamuru region, KTR said, "Congress MLA G Chinna Reddy ignored Wanaparthy when the Congress was in power. He and his party cheered when Krishna water from the region was diverted to Andhra Pradesh. But the BRS has now given water to the region but the Congress only gave tears and have droughts to their credit."

Explaining the development of Wanaparthy, KTR said, "Wanaparthy is competing with Siddipet and Sircilla in terms of development. Medical colleges and nursing colleges have been established here. What could not be done in 60 years by the Congress, has been achieved by the BRS in 9 years."

Urging voters to vote in huge numbers for Agriculture Minister and Wanaparthy MLA Singireddy Niranjan Reddy KTR said, "Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao ensured that Wanaparthy becomes a district. Rs 650 crore funds have been spent here for building roads. A new collectorate has also been built at a cost of Rs 62 crore. You should emulate voters in Sircilla and Siddipet and ensure that Niranjan Reddy wins with a margin of 1 lakh votes."
