Warangal CP orders re-postmortem to buried body after accused confesses to murder

JANGAON: The Jangaon district police are all set to conduct a re-postmortem to the body of woman who died in the mysterious circumstances in the last October amid confession from the accused in the murder of retired MPDO in the district.
The police have made all the arrangements for the procedure.
According to the police, deceased Subhadra died under mysterious circumstances on October 20 last year in Sadashivapet village, located in the Bachannapet mandal of Jangaon district and the funeral was also conducted.
However, after the family members expressed doubts about the cause of her death, a post mortem was conducted on the body after a period of 35 days since the burial wherein no evidence was found by the doctors to support that it was a murder.
Meanwhile, during the investigation of the murder case of retired MPDO Ramakrishnaiah, the main accused, Giriboina Anjaiah confessed that he had murdered Subhadra due to which Warangal Police Commissioner AV Ranganath has ordered a re-postmortem to the body.
The postmortem will take place in the presence of Kakatiya Medical College professors.
