White paper on Telangana's economy soon; all officers will be accountable: Deputy CM Bhatti

MADHIRA: Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has said that the Congress Government will soon release a white paper on the financial condition of the State.

Speaking to reporters here on Monday, Bhatti said, "We are preparing a white paper comparing the economic condition of the State before 2014 and the current situation until the BRS Government was in power till 2023. This white paper will be released at a right platform at the right time.

"For ten years, the BRS Government did not fulfill aspirations of the people. Resources were misused, wealth was exploited and systems were weakened under the BRS rule.

"It is the duty of a Government to ensure that

people of this State believe that every system and every office works for them, right from the Chief Secretary and the DGP to the village level officer. Every system and institution of the Government should be accountable to the people," he said.

Detailing the changes that would be implemented by the Congress Government, Bhatti said, "We are now singing the end of the feudal rule of ten years of BRS administration. Public Durbars are being held across the State. Special officers will be appointed to give clear answers to the public's request. Previous Governments handled grievances in a haphazard and unaccountable manner. No steps were taken towards solving people's problems. That will not be the case now."

Sharing his idea of developing his constituency, Bhatti said, "I will organise an all-party meeting on the development of Madhira constituency. BRS leaders will also be invited to this meeting. Experts and intellectuals in various fields can also give advice and suggestions for the development of the constituency. People can come directly to the MLA's office and share their problems."
