HYDERABAD: "At your 'mauna diksha' you wanted to remind Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao the promises he had made when he was enthroned. If you want to 'place a chair' for someone please do so for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and ask him about the promises he made. I will also accompany you," said State BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalkar as a reaction to comments made by state's Bhartiya Janata Party chief Bandi Sanjay at the 'Mauna Diksha' (silent protest) which he had observed in Karimnagar on Monday.

Kamalakar said that the 'mauna diksha' was a 'eershya diksha' (envy protest) and 'suggested' questions to Bandi which were to be posed to the Prime Minister.

Here are the points that Gangula Kamalakar raised:

"Modi promised Rs. 15 lakhs. Which bank account should people open for this? Which ATM should people go to withdraw the same?"

"He (Modi) said that 2 crore jobs would be given every year which means 16 crore jobs till now. The UPSC exams were conducted every year across India. To whom were those jobs given?"

"Bandi should go and visit the homes of women, who would all protest against Modi, for the LPG prices have skyrocketed. Not only that, every citizen would protest against petrol and diesel price hike."

"Thousands of people would protest against Modi due to privatisation. Modi ruined the lives of LIC, BSNL employees."

"How can the Centre promise that they would buy rainy season crops when the summer season crops haven't been bought yet? Lets hold a protest for the farmers too."

Kamalakar also asked Bandi why he hadn't spoken for the Backward Caste (BC) citizens who were a majority in the country. He said that Bandi didn't have the courage to speak up for the rights of the BCs and asked why hadn't any reservation been made for BCs in the Rajya Sabha.

Speaking about the allegations Bandi made on Dharani portal, he also said that the state government would be organising 'Revenue Sadassus' which would solve these problems. They weren't cancelled but were postponed due to rains.
