Chandrababu Naidu's ring has chip for monitoring health

AMARAVATI: Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu, who was known for observing'simplicity' when it came to appearance, with only a pen in his pocket and not even a watch on his wrist, was found wearing a platinum ring on the index finger of his left hand. However, he revealed, on Thursday, that the ring had a 'chip' in it which would monitor his health and store the data in a computer.

Naidu was found wearing the ring since July 1. He was also seen wearing the ring in the Madanapalli Mahanadu meeting which was held on Wednesday.

It had become big news for the media and rumors came flying thick and fast that he wore the ring after being advised by an astrologer. He scoffed them off as rumors and said that it was only for health purposes and not superstitious beliefs.
