Drunk man fights with cops citing disability

HYDERABAD: A physically challenged youth created ruckus under influence of alcohol after police stopped his car, as part of the 'drunk and drive' checks in Malakpet of Hyderabad on Monday night. At the time of interception of the car, the brother the specially abled man was behind the wheel.
In the breath-analysing test, the man driving the car was found to be in an inebriated condition, prompting the police to initiate procedure under the relevant sections.
But things turned nasty when the physically challenged man, visibly angry, got into an argument with the traffic inspector. He even gave a mouthful, hurling abuses at the police official. This led to commotion at the scene for a brief while. But, the police kept their cool and pacified him before allowing them to leave the spot. However, as per procedure, the police seized the car and registered a case for DUI (driving under influence).
