Eight people roasted alive in Satyasai Dist of AP

AMARAVATI: In an unfortunate incident, as many as eight people were roasted alive In Andhra Pradesh.

The tragedy struck when some agricultural labourers were heading to the farms at Chillakondaiah Palli in Tadimarri Mandal of Satyasai district on Thursday morning.

When a live high-tension wire had fallen off the hook and flung on to an auto-rickshaw in which they were travelling. The vehicle soon caught fire and eight of them were burn alive as the autorickshaw caught fire instantly. Three others were reportedly injured and said to have been shifted to a hospital.

Initial reports suggested that eight of them were killed in the tragedy. Further details are awaited. They belonged to Guddampally.
