KCR will hit hat-trick: KTR

HYDERABAD: KCR will hit a hat-trick by becoming the Chief Minister for a third time in a row, a feat that was not achieved by any South Indian Chief Minister, including M Karuna Nidhi or NTR of YS Rajasekhara Reddy or N Chandrababu Naidu. He will occupy his office in the new secretariat of Telangana. The TRS will win at least 90 seats in the next assembly elections.

The surveys sponsored by the BJP and the Congress in Telangana too predicted the win of TRS. Pensions, ration cards and houses should be given afresh and this is on the top of the mind of the Chief Minister.

Addressing a press conference that ran into close to two hours on Friday, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) working president and Minister K T Rama Rao described Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the PM of Gujarat. "He gave Rs 1,000 crore to Gujarat as an advance relief, whereas he did not even give a thought to help Telangana which is reeling under severe flood situation.

He "welcomed former Congress president Rahul Gandhi" to Sircilla and learn how KCR government implements welfare schemes and developmental works across Telangana. The TRS working president even wondered how Rahul Gandhi and Revanth Reddy would ensure Congress party's victory in Telangana. "Rahul has lost in Amethi and Revanth, in Kodangal and the duo talk of a big Congress win," he quipped.

"The TRS is the only party to have its presence across Telangana," KTR asserted. The BJP did not have any presence in Nalgonda and Khammam districts. Similarly, the Congress also did not have presence in some districts.

KTR said that no one could bully or intimidate KCR.

He also brushed aside reports of infighting in the TRS in some places. When there were too many strong contenders for one position, it's but natural. "On the contrary, it is a clear sign that the TRS is very strong and firmly entrenched in the state. Leaders who are powerful, the party will take them along."

KTR dwelt at length on the economy and said that Modi had raised Rs. 100 lakh crore debts in just eight years since he became the Prime Minister while India's debt burden was Rs. 56 lakh crore over 67 years.
