KTR slams Congress for 'chronic betrayal' of public trust
KTR outlined the party's action plan for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He said that BRS president KCR would start meeting the public in February
KHAMMAM: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao launched a scathing attack on the Congress on Tuesday, accusing it of consistently betraying public trust and failing to deliver on promises.
Addressing the Khammam parliamentary segment meeting at Telangana Bhavan, KTR highlighted the Congress's habit of short-lived public trust, citing historical examples and recent developments. He pointed to the 1989 assembly elections, where the Congress won against TDP, but in the immediate Lok Sabha elections, they lost heavily. KTR asserted, "This pattern of broken promises, losing people's mandate is deeply ingrained in the Congress."
He strongly criticized the Congress government's one-month performance and alleged negligence in implementing poll promises made to SC, ST, BC, and other communities. He also predicted a growing public dissatisfaction.

KTR outlined the party's action plan for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He said that BRS president KCR would start meeting the public in February. He said that district committees would be established to conduct comprehensive reviews every two to three months. Following the current parliamentary reviews, detailed assessments of assembly constituencies would be undertaken.
He also reminded the party cadre of the fighting spirit within the party and KCR's ability to champion the aspirations of the Telangana people. KTR emphasized, "The three-letter word 'KCR' is more powerful than the two-letter word 'CM'." He stressed the responsibility to safeguard Telangana's achievements and development by securing victory in the upcoming elections.
