MUNUGODE: Massive crowds descended on the roadshow of TRS working president and Ministet K T Rama Rao on Friday evening.
Amid lusty cheers of frenzied crowds, KTR listed out the achievements of the TRS Government. KTR focused on the various problems specific to Munugode Assembly constituency and elucidated how effectively the KCR regime could address them and resolve the long pending issues.
Fluoride problem that affected the health of lakhs of people for generations was tackled down with the help of Mission Bhagiratha, safe drinking water scheme to every household.
Speaking at a road show held in Choutuppal, Munugode, on Friday evening, TRS Working President KTR reiterated the assurance that he would adopt Munugode, which was ignored by Rajagopal Reddy.
Addressing thousands of people who gathered at the road show, TRS Working President KTR said that 79,000 farmers in Munugode get Rythu Bandhu scheme, 43,000 people got pensions under old age, single women, weavers, and others get Aasara pension, 9,900 women in the constituency received Kalyan Lakshmi scheme, 9,500 KCR Kits were distributed at government hospitals, families of 1,189 farmers who have died have received Rythu Bima.
KTR said that an industrial cluster would be established in 580 acres at Dandu Malkapur to generate employment for youth. He said that construction works of 200 companies were nearing completion.
There was acute shortage of drinking water and irrigation facilities, and frequent power outages. A few farmers, who ventured into fields at night when power was supplied, died due to electrocution and scorpions bites.
