Sankranti rush hits vehicular traffic at Pantangi toll plaza in Nalgonda

HYDERABAD: There has been an increase in vehicular traffic on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada National Highway in Nalgonda district, particularly due to people traveling to their hometowns for the Sankranti festival. As a result, heavy congestion was reported near the Pantangi toll plaza in Choutuppal mandal.

During festive seasons, it is common for highways to experience heavier traffic as people travel to their hometowns to celebrate with their families and loved ones. Authorities are working to manage the situation and ensure smooth flow of traffic. Two traffic inspectors, three traffic SIs and 30 staff are working to control traffic.
