Traffic diversions issued in light of PM's visit to Hyderabad

Traffic diversions would be enforced on July 3 from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM for a 3-km radius from Parade Grounds, Secunderabad.

HYDERABAD: Commissioner of Police IPS C V Anand has issued a traffic advisory, on Friday, before Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit for BJP party's public meeting in Hyderabad on July 3.

Traffic diversions would be enforced on July 3 from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM for a 3-km radius from Parade Grounds, Secunderabad.

The Police have requested general public to avoid roads from HICC Madhapur - Jubilee Hills Check post –KBR Park – Punjagutta –Greenlands – Begumpet – Parade Ground and surrounding roads of Parade Grounds. Roads between Tivoli X-roads to Plaza X-roads would be also closed.

The Police have asked public to avoid all junctions and roads within 3-km radius of Parade Grounds. They also said that MG Road, R.P Road and S.D Road would be congested from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Public intending to travel by evening trains from the Secunderabad Railway Station were requested to start early to reach the Railway station on time. There would be traffic congestion while approaching Secunderabad Railway Station from Platform No. 1 side, hence public were requested to use the entry from platform no. 10 from Chilkalguda side.
