15 students fall ill after mid-day meal at school in Nagarkurnool

NAGARKURNOOL: Fifteen students from Sainpally Primary School in Bijnapally mandal, Nagar Kurnool district, fell ill after consuming the mid-day meal provided at their school. The students experienced vomiting soon after the meal.

Teachers immediately took the affected children to the Bijnapally Primary Health Centre, where they were given first aid. All students are reported to be stable after the treatment.

However, parents were upset as teachers reportedly did not inform them about the incident before leaving for home in the evening. Authorities are looking into the matter, and further steps are expected to ensure the safety of the students.
