16 houses burgled in one night in Kukatpally

HYDERABAD: In a mind-boggling string of thefts, 16 houses were burgled in Kukatpally in a single night on Sunday. The burglaries happened in Dayarguda, Kerala Basti and Devi Nagar, which fall under the Kukatpally police limits.

The police, who inspected the burgled houses, said that the thieves struck at houses that were under lock and key.

Reportedly, gold jewellery, laptops and other valuables are suspected to have been stolen from the houses in the colony. The police registered cases and the investigation into them is underway.
