30 fall ill after drinking contaminated water in Narayankhed

NARAYANKHED: Nearly 30 residents of Sanjeevaraopet in Narayankhed mandal fell seriously ill after consuming contaminated water from a village well.

The affected individuals, all from the BC Colony, began experiencing vomiting and diarrhoea shortly after drinking the water.

Upon receiving the information, local authorities quickly responded and arranged for the affected people to be shifted to both government and private hospitals in Narayankhed for treatment. Family members of the victims have expressed deep concern about their condition.

The authorities are currently investigating the cause of the contamination to prevent further incidents.
