75-year-old man attempts to rape an 8-year-old girl
This is the third heinous incident in Peddapally in 10 days and the second case in 24 hours in Telangana.
PEDDAPALLY: A 75-year-old man attempted to rape an 8-year-old girl in Peddapally district.
The incident took place in Koonaram village of Kalva Srirampur mandal. The accused tried to rape a mentally challenged girl.
Based on a complaint lodged by the girl's relatives, the police registered a case and arrested the accused. The girl was sent for medical examination. Further investigations are ongoing.
This is the third heinous incident in Peddapally in the last ten days. This is the second such incident of sexual assault on minor girls within 24 hours.
A 24-year-old man sexually assaulted a three-year-old girl in Asifabad district.
The accused, Bude Rajender (24), of Venkatraopet village of Sirpur Mandal, abducted the child while she was playing with other children.
When other children informed about this to the child's father, he went to the youth's house and found his daughter bleeding and crying. A complaint was lodged with the police, and the youth was arrested.
