Another software engineer raped in Hyderabad; Assistant director arrested

HYDERABAD: In a shocking incident, a software engineer residing in Poppalaguda was allegedly raped by an assistant director named Siddharth Varma. The incident has sparked outrage and raised concerns about the safety of women in the city.

According to the police, Siddharth Varma lured the victim with promises of securing film opportunities. Trusting his words, the software engineer agreed to meet him. However, Siddharth took advantage of the situation and raped her.

The victim immediately reported the incident to the police, who registered a case and began the investigation.
