Auto-rickshaw driver sexually assaults woman in Gachibowli

HYDERABAD: In a shocking incident in Gachibowli, an auto-rickshaw driver allegedly sexually assaulted a young woman who worked at a construction company’s office.

The incident took place early on Tuesday morning around 2:30 AM. The victim boarded an auto from RC Puram and was headed towards her destination. However, when the auto reached the Masjid Banda area, the driver reportedly assaulted her. He then abandoned her at the spot and fled.

The woman immediately lodged a complaint with the Gachibowli police, who have registered a case and initiated an investigation. Authorities are currently examining CCTV footage from the area to trace the suspect.
