VISAKHAPATNAM: The bomb threat in an Air India flight from Delhi to Visakhapatnam proved a hoax.

The flight departed from Delhi around midnight on Tuesday. Shortly after takeoff, a man called Delhi Airport, claiming there was a bomb on the plane. Authorities immediately alerted Visakhapatnam Airport, where the flight was scheduled to land. There were 107 passengers on board.

Upon landing in Visakhapatnam, officials evacuated the passengers and thoroughly inspected the aircraft. No explosives or suspicious items were found during the search, and authorities determined that the threat was a hoax.

A case has been registered, and further investigations are ongoing.
