Car plunges into canal, youth rescues father, daughter

VIJAYAWADA: In a courageous act of bravery, a young man named Saibaba rescued a father and daughter from a sinking car in West Godavari district.

The car plunged into a canal near the Tadepalligudem Sugar Factory and was quickly submerged. Saibaba, who happened to be nearby, immediately dived into the water.

Armed with a tool, he managed to break the car’s window and pull out the trapped father and daughter, saving their lives. His quick response averted a potentially fatal outcome, and both individuals are now safe.

The local community has hailed Saibaba as a hero, praising his timely intervention. While the exact cause of the car's fall into the canal remains unclear, police began an investigation to determine any contributing factors.
