HYDERABAD: A case of police brutality surfaced in Narsaiahpalli village of Cherial Mandal in Siddipet district, raising questions about friendly policing.

A constable, M Karunakar, insulted and threatened a young farmer, Chintala Chandu, during a land dispute. Karunakar verbally abused Chandu, saying, "If I call you to the police station, you will come to the police station. I will see your end, and I will see how you survive." He then slapped Chandu on the cheeks.
