Cop murdered by woman, her lover, in Visakhapatnam

VISAKHAPATNAM: In a tragic incident that happened in Visakhapatnam, a man was murdered by his wife and her lover over an extramarital affair.

The man, identified as Ramesh (35) a police constable, lived with his wife Shivani in Visakhapatnam. Allegedly, Shivani met a taxi driver, Rama Rao, and was suspected to have an affair with him. To lead a comfortable life with Rama Rao, Shivani allegedly planned Ramesh’s murder. Shivani and her lover Rama Rao strangled Ramesh with a pillow after he consumed alcohol earlier this week.

Visakhapatnam CP Trivikram Varma, who suspected that Ramesh’s death was a murder, told the media that Shivani fabricated the incident to make it look like a heart attack.

However, it was found by the police that Shivani had an extramarital affair and she, along with Rama Rao, had murdered Ramesh with a motive to lead a peaceful life.

The police registered a case against Shivani and Rama Rao and further investigation is in progress.
