HYDERABAD: A police case was registered against Dharmapuri Arvind, the BJP MP from Nizamabad, under IPC section 505 (1) ( c). "With intent to incite, or which is likely to incite, any class or community of persons to commit any offence against any other class or community, shall be punished with imprisonment which may extend to 6[three years], or with fine, or with both," after he allegedly abused Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
The plaintiff said that abusive words were used against the Chief Minister to degrade the Government's image, to develop hate and create an unlawful atmosphere and legal action must be taken against the MP.
