Dichpally travels firm dangles Kuwait jobs, dupes 600 aspirants of Rs 2 cr

NIZAMABAD: As many as 600 aspirants from Nizamabad, Kamareddy, and Jagityal staged a sit-in protest against RK Travels company, which allegedly duped them of Rs 2 crores under the pretext of providing them jobs in the gulf countries. With the organisers of the travels company suddening turning the board and playing the vanishing act, the victims have lodged a complaint with the Dichpally police station and requested the police to ensure justice for them.

According to some of the victims, RK Travels was established three months ago at Dichpally mandal headquarter town in Nizamabad district. The agency carried out an extensive campaign promising to employ local job aspirants with lucrative salaries in the name of a company America Nation Food Packing Company in Kuwait. The job aspirants, who fell into the company's trap, flocked to the RK Travels company for details and paid Rs 20,000 each towards registration besides spending Rs 5,600 for getting their medical tests done in Ameerpet of Hyderabad.

Allegedly, RK Travels company has further collected Rs 80,000 to Rs 1,50,000 from the victims based on the job type on offer and Rs 1,500 for medical examination in Nizamabad. But since then, the company kept dodging the issue by using the refrain that the aspirants would be sent to Kuwait very soon. However, on Monday, the company management told the victims to come to Dichpally but only to deceive them. The victims, who went to the office, realised that the company had turned the board. Seeking justice and a refund of their money, the approached the police.
