Driver suffers heart attack, lorry crashes into car; one dead
A driver suffering a heart attack resulted in his lorry crashing into a stationary car in Rajendra Nagar of Ranga Reddy district
RAJENDRANAGAR: A driver suffering a heart attack resulted in his lorry crashing into a stationary car near Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agriculture Universityon National Highway No. 44 in Rajendra Nagar of Ranga Reddy district on Tuesday morning. The lorry driver died due to the heart attack.
According to police, the driver identified as Kummari Narasimhulu was proceeding from Hyderabad to Kurnool in his lorry carrying a load of grains. He reportedly suffered a heart attack and as a result, lost control of the vehicle which crashed into the car parked on the roadside on National Highway 44 in Rajendra Nagar.
According to the police, the car driver suffered minor injuries as the car balloons opened in time. The car was partially damaged and the traffic was disrupted for sometime on the highway.
The police shifted the injured to the hospital and are investigating the case.
