Elderly woman dies as speeding car rams into her in Dhulapally

QUTHBULLAPUR: An elderly woman died after a speeding car rammed into her near the NTR statue in Dhulapally of Quthbullapur on Monday. The deceased, identified as Chittemma (60), made her living by selling corn near the NTR statue in Dhulapally.

According to details furnished by the police, a Maruti Suzuki Brezza, with temporary registration number TS 09 FH T/R 6218, was coming from Maisamma Guda from Dulapally and had lost control due to speeding and rammed into Chittemma while she was sitting near the NTR statue.

The Petbasheerabad police arrested Ajay, who was driving the Brezza car recklessly and registered a case.
