Five men allegedly rape two women in Sri Sathya Sai District
A woman and her daughter-in-law were allegedly raped by five unidentified men in a paper mill in Sri Sathya Sai district.
VIJAYAWADA: Five unidentified men allegedly raped a women and her daughter-in-law at a paper mill in the Chilamathur area of Sri Sathya Sai district. The women were staying at the under-construction mill where their family worked as watchmen.
According to reports, the assailants arrived on motorcycles late at night. The disturbance alerted the women's family members, who stepped outside to investigate with a torchlight. When questioned about their presence, the men attacked the women’s husbands.
Meanwhile, four of the attackers forced their way into a room and allegedly raped the two women. The attackers fled the scene immediately after the incident.
Police have launched an investigation and are actively searching for the suspects involved in this heinous crime. Further updates are expected as the investigation progresses.
