Five youths from Telangana killed in road accident near Pune

Six youths from Narayankhed, Sangareddy, visited Dargah Ajmer Sharif. On their return, their vehicle overturned near Pune.

HYDERABAD: Five youths from Narayankhed in Telangana died in a horrific road accident on the outskirts of Pune, Maharashtra, on Tuesday evening.

The victims were part of a group of six youths from Narayankhed in Sangareddy district who had visited Dargah Ajmer Sharif. On their return journey, their vehicle lost control and overturned multiple times near Pune, resulting in total destruction of the vehicle.

Mahboob Qureshi, Feroze Qureshi, Rafiq Qureshi, Syed Ismail, and Majid Patel died instantly at the scene. Another youth, Syed Aamir, was seriously injured and has been admitted to a hospital in Pune, where he is receiving treatment.

Police have confirmed that all the deceased were under the age of 25. Further details are awaited.
