Gang attempts to kidnap a man in Narsingi, locals thwart kidnapers plan

HYDERABAD: An unidentified gang attempted to abduct a man by threatening him with knives at Janvada Chowrasta in Narsingi in Ranga Reddy district on Monday.

However, the gang's plan was thwarted after the villagers, who noticed that the man was being forced into a van, attacked them.

While the assailants tried to flee the scene of the offense, the locals chased them and held two of the gang members. The locals identified the deadly weapons with the gang and handed them over to the Narsingi police.

The Narsingi police have registered a case under an attempt to kidnap and are investigating the duo who were held as to why they had tried to kidnap the man. The police are finding out the reasons and persons behind the incident.
