NAMPALLY: A ganja case accused created ruckus in the Nampally court on Thursday, refusing to go to jail after being remanded. Citing his scheduled wedding on June 25, 2023, he stonewalled the efforts of the police to shift him to the prison in a police van, like a reluctant kid refusing to go to school. The drama involved in the incident, which showcased painful emotions of an individual, ironically dished out some fun to those watching it, including the police and the judiciary staff.

The accused, identified as Anand Agarwal, was arrested by Salibanda police in a ganja case and was produced in the Nampally Court. When the court ordered his remand, Anand Agarwal refused to go to jail and created ruckus in the court. He broke the glass windows and even injured himself in the process.

Anand Agarwal, who has a history of criminal activity, was reluctant to be shifted to the jail because his wedding was scheduled on June 25.

The accused is known to be a rowdy sheeter and was involved in about 18 cases including murder and theft. He was reportedly arrested in a murder case recently and came out of jail on bail.
