Girl dies while trying to save father from suicide in Mahabubnagar

MAHABUBNAGAR: A girl lost her life while attempting to save her father from committing suicide. The incident took place in the Enugundi area of Mahabubnagar district.

According to police, 46-year-old Shivanand, distressed by domestic problems, decided to end his life by jumping in front of a train. His 17-year-old daughter, Chandana, tried to save him but was also struck by the train. Both father and daughter died on the spot.
