HYDERABAD: The sleuths of Commissioner’s task force, south zone team, Hyderabad along with Kulsumpura police apprehended two people in possession of 6kgs of ganja on Saturday.

The police recovered two packets of Ganza containing four kilos from the first accused, Sunil Singh, and one packet containing two kilos of Ganja from the second accused, Nanda Kishore.

During the inquiry, Sunil Singh revealed that he used to buy Ganja from Nanda Kishore Singh in Dhoolpet. On June 19, he travelled to Sileru, Andhra Pradesh, and purchased six kilos of Ganja for Rs 24,000 from Vamshi, a Sileru villager.

On June 29, he sold four kilos of ganja to Sunil Singh for Rs. 28,000, and the remaining two kilos of ganja were held in his residence in Karwan, Asif Nagar, Hyderabad. He sold the same to needy customers at a higher price with good profits.

Police nabbed the two chronic drug peddlers early Saturday morning when they were attempting to sell drugs to needy customers at Piyush Pan Shop, located at Gaushala, 100 feet road, Jiaguda within the jurisdiction of Kulsumpura police station.
