Hyderabad police seize 800 kgs of cannabis on ORR

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad Police have seized a large quantity of cannabis in a raid on the city's outskirts.

Officers from the Balanagar Special Operations Team (SOT) intercepted a container lorry on the Outer Ring Road near Pedda Golconda. Upon searching the vehicle, they discovered 800 kilograms of cannabis hidden inside.

The lorry driver was arrested at the scene and is currently being questioned by police. Preliminary investigations suggest that the cannabis was being transported from Odisha and was destined for Gachibowli.
