Hyderabad shop owner thrashes boy, sprinkles chilli powder on private parts

HYDERABAD: In a shocking incident, a grocery store owner in Habeeb Nagar thrashed a 10-year-old boy, stripped him naked, and sprinkled chilly powder on his private parts.

The incident occurred when the boy was playing around with his friends and allegedly stole a cool drink from the shop. Based on a complaint lodged by the boy's mother, a case was registered against Gadge Krishna Kanth, the 28-year-old shop owner.

During the police investigation, the shopkeeper admitted that he assaulted the boy to teach him a lesson. The accused was remanded in police custody and would be produced in the court on Tuesday.
