International sex racket busted in Gachibowli, 17 foreign women rescued

HYDERABAD: In a major crackdown, Cyberabad police have uncovered an international sex racket operating in Gachibowli, arresting 17 foreign women. The women, who were being forced into prostitution, were rescued by the Anti-Women Trafficking unit of the Cyberabad police.
The police revealed that the racket was being run through an online website, with operations centered in an independent house in Kondapur. Among those arrested were 14 women from Kenya, two from Uganda, and one from Tanzania.
The main operator, identified as Shiva Kumar, was arrested along with two customers. Shiva Kumar had been luring clients by posting photos of the women on the Locanto website, using the platform to facilitate the illegal activities.
The police noted that Shiva Kumar had been running this racket with foreign women for the past several years. The investigation is ongoing, and further action will be taken against those involved.
