Jilted lover murders girl's parents in Warangal district

WARANGAL: In a shocking incident in Warangal district, a jilted lover brutally murdered a girl's parents. The girl and her brother, who tried to stop the attack, were also injured. This heart-wrenching event occurred in Chintal Tanda, Chennaraopet Mandal, Warangal district, in the early hours of Thursday.

Banni, a young man from the same village, was in love with a girl named Deepika. However, once her parents discovered this, they began to impose strict measures on her. Enraged by this, Banni arrived at Deepika's house with a sword at around 2 AM on Thursday and launched a frenzied attack on her sleeping parents.

Hearing their parents' screams, Deepika and her younger brother woke up and tried to intervene. During the struggle, the jilted lover attacked them as well. Deepika's mother, Sagna, died on the spot, while her father, Shiva, was critically injured and later succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. Deepika and her brother sustained severe injuries.

Upon receiving information from the locals, the police inspected the crime scene and registered a case. The accused has been arrested.
