Journalist's wife dies by suicide at ETV headquarters

HYDERABAD: A 26-year-old woman died by suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of Eenadu headquarters in the Ramoji Film City on Monday.

The deceased, Sai Kumari, had been an employee of Ramoji Film City and had worked at the call centre for several years. She arrived at the office on Monday morning and jumped to her death from the top of the same building where she had been employed. Notably, her husband is also a journalist at ETV headquarters. The couple had two children.

Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene and shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital mortuary for post-mortem examination. An investigation has been initiated to ascertain the reasons that led her to take such an extreme step.
