Labourer brutally murdered in Miyapur

A fight over water at a tea stall in Miyapur, Hyderabad, led to the brutal murder.

HYDERABAD: A labourer was brutally murdered by three persons over a petty dispute in Miyapur police limits in the early hours of Friday.

The victim, Sailu, a resident of Beeranguda in the Medak district, worked as a sand lorry unloading labourer in Miyapur. Around 4:30 am, a dispute over water broke out between Sailu and Satish alias Srinivas, the manager of a local tea stall.

During the altercation, Satish and two others attacked Sailu, inflicting severe injuries. Local residents immediately called an ambulance and rushed Sailu to a nearby private hospital. However, the medical staff revealed that Sailu had already succumbed to his injuries by the time he arrived.

The Miyapur police have registered a case and begun an investigation.
