Lecturer critical after husband slits her throat in Anantapur

ANANTAPUR: A lecturer in Anantapur was grievously injured after her husband attacked her on the college premises and slit her throat on Thursday.

Sumangali is a professor of commerce in a local arts college. Reportedly, her husband attempted to kill her due to family disputes.

The victim was immediately taken to the Anantapur government hospital. Her condition was reported to be serious. Complete details regarding the incident were yet to be known.
