KARIMNAGAR: The Karimnagar police have arrested one Jedi Siva Krishna, who allegedly killed a person for harassing his sister in the name of love. The accused killed Manda Santhosh by slitting his throat on November 16 in Jammikunta town in Karimnagar district. Following his arrest, the accused has been sent for remand.
According to Huzurabad ACP Venkat Reddy, the deceased Manda Santhosh was a colleague of Siva Krishna of Motkulagudem. Both used to work as painters. Santhosh, during his visits to Siva Krishna's house Shiva's house, used to allegedly harass his sister in the name of love. Angry and upset with Santhosh's behaviour, Siva Krishna decided to eliminate his friend.
When Manda Santosh was having alcohol with his friends at Shobhan Wines on November 16, Siva Krishna went there and slit his throat with a knife.
According to the complaint filed by Manda Sunil, the victim's elder brother, the case was investigated and the accused Siva krishna was arrested. Huzurabad ACP Venkat Reddy said that he was arrested and sent to remand.
