Man attempts suicide at Revanth Reddy's residence, taken into custody

HYDERABAD: A shocking incident unfolded at the residence of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in Jubilee Hills as a man attempted suicide by pouring diesel on himself.

The individual, whose identity has not been disclosed, resorted to this extreme measure reportedly due to the Chief Minister's office not granted him an appointment. The accused claimed that he had joined the Congress from the TDP along with Revanth Reddy but was not being recognised by the Chief Minister. However, the swift intervention of the police prevented the man from carrying out a suicide attempt, and was taken into custody for further investigation. The motive behind the man's desperate act and his origins is being probed.
