NARSAPURAM: In a bizarre incident reported in Rustumbada village of Narsapuram, a person dug up his father's grave and vandalised his skeletal remains. Not just that, he also took pictures of his father's skull and posted them on social media platforms.

Murtala Jaya Prasad, who hailed from Rustumbada, died on July 13 2021. He was buried as per Christian traditions in the same village. Sujan, his son from his first wife, broke open Prasad's tomb on December 9 after alleged prolonged disputes over property with family members.

On knowing Sujan's mischief, Sanjay, Jaya Prasad's son from his second wife, lodged a complaint with the police. Sanjay told the police that this behaviour of Sujan has hurt their sentiments and also caused panic among the villagers.

The police, who registered a case, said that Sujan dug up the grave as he was angry with his father for many reasons including his second marriage.
