Man killed in YSR district due to alleged extramarital affair, suspect arrested
A detonator blast killed a man in YSR district, reportedly linked to an extramarital affair, police say.
KADAPA: A man lost his life in a detonator explosion, allegedly linked to an extramarital affair, in Kothapalli village of Vemula mandal in the YSR district of Andhra Pradesh.
The deceased, identified as VRA Narasimha, was attacked while sleeping in his home when a man named Babu placed detonators under his bed, which exploded, killing him on the spot.
Narasimha's wife, Subbalakshmamma, sustained severe injuries in the explosion. Upon receiving the information, local police arrived at the scene and rushed Subbalakshmamma to the hospital for treatment. Authorities have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the matter.
Preliminary findings by the police indicate that the motive behind Narasimha's death may have been linked to an extramarital affair. The suspect, Babu, has been taken into custody for questioning.
