Newborn dies after alleged forced delivery at Nalgonda Government Hospital

NALGONDA: A baby has died at Nalgonda Government Hospital just days after a woman gave birth in a chair at the same facility. The family of the deceased infant are alleging medical negligence, claiming the doctor forced the delivery.

Cherukupalli Srilatha, from Gyarakunta Palem in Madgulapally Mandal, was reportedly planning to give birth at a private hospital. However, she was called back to the government hospital by a doctor. The family allege this doctor was still upset about the recent negative publicity surrounding the previous birth and forced the delivery, resulting in the newborn's death.
