Nizamabad court sentences four to lifer in Mamidipalli woman’s murder Case
The Nizamabad court has sentenced four accused persons to life imprisonment in a murder case of a woman from Mamidipalli
NIZAMABAD: The Nizamabad court has sentenced four accused persons to life imprisonment in a murder case of a woman from Mamidipalli under Armoor Police Station jurisdiction. The incident occurred in 2018.
The accused Tokala Chitra, who was, on a suspicious that she had fallen sick due to the exorcism carried out by a woman named Bonige Bharti in 2018, had planned to kill her. Tokala Chitra had taken the help of her close relatives and killed Bonige Bharti by slitting her throat
Following Bharti's killing, the accused cleverly removed gold chains from the victims person in an attempt to mislead investigators by portraying it as a murder for gain.
However, then Armoor CI Raghavender and current CI of Saifabad, who investigated the case, found crucial evidences such as footprints, fingerprints, CCTV footage, and the phone locations of the four accused and built the case and subsequently the Nizamabad court sentenced the four accused to a lifer.
CI Raghavender's diligent efforts in gathering and presenting solid proof before the court played a pivotal role in securing the conviction and sentencing of the accused.
