Over 15 students fall sick due to food poisoning

BHAINSA: Over 15 students from the Dahegaon government school in Bhainsa mandal in Nirmal district fell ill due to food poisoning after consuming lunch at school last Thursday. The incident came to light late, as the students began experiencing vomiting and diarrhoea upon returning home.

Concerned parents rushed their children to several private hospitals in Bhainsa. However, due to high medical expenses, some parents had to transfer their children to hospitals in the area. Among the affected students, a boy named Vinan is reported to be in serious condition.

Police have registered a case and began the investigation.
