Police constable murdered by unknown persons in Nandyal

Nandyal : A police constable was brutally hacked to death on the outskirts of Nandyal in the late hours of Sunday. Surendra, a police constable at Nandyal, has been identified as the deceased.

According to reports, the deceased was abducted around 10:30 p.m. from the Raj theatre in Nandyala town by unknown individuals. After taking him to the Cheruvukatta area on the outskirts of town, the group stabbed him to death. The killers fled the scene after murdering Surendra.

After learning about the incident, the police rushed to the spot to investigate the crime scene. Raghuveera Reddy, the SP for the Nandyal district, arrived and sought information about the incident. The body has been transported to Nandyal General Hospital for autopsy.

Surendra's murder has left the police department in shock.
