Police nab two for stealing lorry worth Rs 8 lakhs

HYDERABAD: The Miyapur police apprehended two men at a parking place area, near 7 Hills Dhaba, Bachupally Road, Miyapur and recovered a stolen lorry worth Rs 8 lakhs.

The accused Narla Mallesh and Mudavath Srinu, who were friends for four years, decided to commit theft for gaining a lavish life. They noticed a parked lorry in New Colony near Shivalayam temple and managed to flee with it.

During the interrogation, the accused men confessed to committing the offence. The police recovered the lorry which was found to be worth over Rs 8 lakhs.
