Police vigilance intensified in the Old City of Hyderabad; Several youths taken into custody

HYDERABAD: In response to a recent surge in murders in Hyderabad, police have heightened vigilance in the city. Night patrols have intensified, and shops are mandated to close by 10:30 p.m.

On Tuesday night, the Saidabad police conducted a special operation around Champapet, Santosh Nagar, Chadar Ghat, Malakpet, and Saidabad. As part of this campaign, hotels, pan shops, and fast food centres were shut down. Police interrogated individuals and provided counselling to youths found loitering on the streets at night.
