Private travels bus crashes into parked lorry in Palnadu, one killed

GUNTUR: One person was killed and five others were seriously injured when a bus belonging to a private travels firm crashed into a parked lorry near Dhagepalli of Palnadu district on Sunday morning.

The private travels bus belonging to Kaveri Travel was heading from Hyderabad to Ongole with 50 passengers on board. As the bus arrived at Dhagepalli, it rammed into the lorry that was parked on the road resulting in the fatality and injuries. The front part of the bus was damaged due to the collision impact.

On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and shifted the injured to Gurajala Government Hospital. The police registered a case and are investigating the incident. Full details of the incident are yet to be ascertained.
